The Spirit of Trane–CD Review by Sammy Stein (Jazz In Europe)

'The Spirit of Trane' is released simply because, for Gilad Atzmon, it is a chance to acknowledge possibly the greatest and most influential tenor sax player in jazz history. Gilad says, "whether it is his patented sheets of sound, his rapid fire improvisations, advanced harmonic progressions or lush interpretations of ballads, no aspiring music lover can afford to neglect the music of 'Trane" . As Gilad handed me one of the first copies of the CD at a gig recently he told me, you will love this'. He was, as he sometimes is, right.

Jazz, Resistance and Me (documentary)

I came across this KontreKulture's video today. I am not sure it was featured on my site before. It was actually very interesting for me to watch. I speak about many things to do with music, Israel, Palestine, being in the world,  but also about the manner in which Jazz  and beauty were obliterated by education and fake diversity.

I have never expected to agree with Dershowitz

In this video, Alan Dershowitz,  speaks against the Antifa and AltLeft hooliganism. His argument is, indeed valid!

The Antifa is funded  by George Soros and Dershowitz regards Soros as an enemy of Israel and Zionism.  At the end of the day, every crucial political debate is always reduced into a Jewish internal dispute.

From Richard Spencer to Otto Weininger

We, the people, are forced tofight meaningless  sectarian battles instead of focusing on peace and harmony. We forgot that loving our neighbour and turning the other cheek is where the West came to realise itself as a meaningful adventure. Let’s say NO to ID politics of all forms. Saarwellingen Jazz Workshop/Festival - German TV's report

Our annual music gathering in Saarwellingen was a great success. We packed the room night after night. We had many new students and some new teachers. For some of us this workshop  is a very consuming and demanding  job, yet a precious time. I am proud to be the art director of this project - it feels like a family gathering. I would like to use this opportunity to thank the team, Conni, Gudrun, the students, the community and the many supportive music lovers.

On Tribal Vindictiveness

The following are  emails sent a few days ago in an attempt to jeopardise one of my London gigs. The first mounts pressure on the venue. The second and third were sent to one of my bandmates. You will find no attempt to substantiate any of the phantasmic accusations levelled against me. The link provided is nothing short of a Zionist rant that doesn't produce a single piece of evidence whatsoever.  The last email  celebrates the hope that I am destined to poverty. It suggests I learn to eat rice mix with cat food.
